What is Equipulse?

Equipulse is a student-led nonprofit committed to supporting kidney patients, especially those undergoing dialysis, through holistic, community-based care.

We started after seeing how many patients were exhausted, confused, and underserved after treatment. From that moment, we knew: something had to change.

CKD disproportionately affects Black, Hispanic, and low-income communities in Texas.

1 in 7 U.S. adults—over 37 million people—have chronic kidney disease (CKD).

Many patients must navigate complex dietary restrictions, insurance issues, and transportation barriers—all at once.

From nutrition to education to direct outreach, we’re building a world where no dialysis patient is left behind.
